About us

We didn’t set out to create just another journal.

We created this because we needed it.

Like many Catholics, we wanted to grow in our faith — to pray more consistently, to go deeper in our spiritual life, and to take sin seriously. But too often, we found ourselves falling into the same patterns:

Going to confession unprepared.
Struggling with the same sins.
Wanting to change, but lacking structure.

We realised something simple but powerful:

The saints didn’t grow by accident.
They lived with intention.

Practices like a daily examination of conscience — encouraged by spiritual guides such as St. Ignatius of Loyola — have helped Catholics for centuries to grow in self-awareness, resist temptation, and return more faithfully to God.

But in today’s world, that kind of structure is often missing.

So, we created Return to Mercy and Confession in a Year

A simple, intentional journal to help Catholics:

  • examine their conscience daily
  • prepare their hearts for confession
  • confront habitual sin
  • and return again and again to God’s mercy

We believe the Christian life is not about perfection.

It is about returning.

Returning after failure.
Returning after weakness.
Returning, always, to mercy.

If this journal helps you take even one step closer to God, then it has served its purpose.
